Germany: 20 Die In Floods In Central Europe

Twenty people have died in floods in Central Europe, and more than 80,000 emergency personnel worked to contain the worst floods Germany has seen in a decade, AP reported June 8. After several days of heavy rains, thousands of people remained unable to return to their homes, and several bridges and roads have become impassable. Floods are also affecting Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria.
