Germany: Berlin To Reduce Diplomatic Presence In North Korea

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said Germany will reduce its embassy staff in North Korea and requires Pyongyang to do the same in Berlin, Yahoo News reported Nov. 30. Gabriel said two diplomats have left and one more will follow. The decision comes two days after North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, prompting an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting. The United States has called on all countries to sever trade and diplomatic ties with North Korea.
