Jordan: Protests Continue In Amman

An estimated 10,000 protesters have gathered in Amman to call for Jordanian King Abdullah II's ouster, AFP reported Nov. 16. Crowds chanted that the people want the regime to fall, and that the king should reform or leave because he has lost legitimacy. A deputy leader of the opposition Muslim Brotherhood said that the calls for regime change are increasing because the government is ignoring the people's demands.
