Libya: At Least 20 Troops Killed As Fighting Continues In Benghazi

At least 20 members of the Libyan National Army have died and 40 injured in the past two days of fighting in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi, a medical official said Nov. 16, Reuters reported. The Libyan National Army, headed up by powerful Gen. Khalifa Hifter, has been trying to push extremist forces from the key city for years. Hifter's forces launched a new offensive to reclaim parts of the city on Nov. 14.
