South Korea, U.S.: Washington Pulls Seoul Into Memory Chip Dispute With China

The United States asked South Korea's government to put pressure on South Korea-based Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix -- the world's two largest Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) chip producers -- to not boost sales of memory chips to China if Beijing bans U.S.-based Micron Technology, the world's third-largest DRAM memory chip producer, from selling to China, the Financial Times reported on April 24....
