South Sudan: Army Kills 28 Militants In Upper Nile State

A Sudan People's Liberation Army spokesman said April 21 that the army had killed 28 rebels loyal to Riek Machar in a confrontation in Upper Nile State, Xinhua reported April 22. The South Sudanese army is still pursuing militants who fled into the jungle following the clashes, which took place near Sobat River between the towns of al-Nasir and Malakal.
