Taiwan: TMSC and Foxconn Ink $350 Million Vaccine Deal

The leaders of two of Taiwan’s largest firms, chips manufacturer Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and electronics manufacturer Foxconn, signed a $350 million deal on July 11 to procure 10 million doses of Germany’s BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine from a unit of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Co., which also has a distribution deal for BioNTech shots in Hong Kong, the Financial Times has reported....
