U.S.: Fed's Vice Chairman Will Step Down In October

Federal Reserve Board Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer has resigned and will be leaving his post in mid-October, Bloomberg reported Sept. 6. Fischer was appointed to the board by former U.S. President Barack Obama in 2014, and his departure will leave four of the seven Fed seats vacant.
