In this episode of the Stratfor Pen and Sword podcast, host Fred Burton sits down with author and former U.S. Army Special Forces officer Brad Taylor.
In 2011, Taylor released the first book of his now widely popular Pike Logan series, which follows the adventures of an elite Special Forces commando as he traverses the world to stamp out security threats to the United States. The latest installment, Hunter Killer, takes place in the lawless tri-border region among Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, where Pike and his team have dangerous run-ins with Russian assassins and corrupt politicians.
Prior to becoming a best-selling author, Taylor spent more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, including eight in the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (commonly known as the Delta Force).
Join us for a lively conversation as Taylor shares his experience in the military, as well as his tips for aspiring writers.
