Superpower With Author Russell Gold: Part 2

Jul 27, 2019 | 09:15 GMT

Russell Gold's book Superpower discusses America's energy future

Author Russell Gold continues his conversation about energy and his book Superpower: One Man's Quest to Transform American Energy

(Stratfor)

The United States has energy markets — whether for coal, gas, nuclear, wind or other sources of power — yet it does not actually have a unified energy policy. But as renewables become more important in energy production, the country will need a clearer energy policy, says Russell Gold, the author of the new book SuperPower! One Man's Quest to Transform American Energy.

Gold recently sat down with Stratfor's Vice President of Global Analysis, Reva Goujon, for their second chat about energy policy, energy subsidies, generational and regional divides over the incorporation of renewables into the energy supply and more.
