Where Limited Health Infrastructure Leaves Coronavirus Vulnerabilities

Increased movement of people in and out of China for tourism, business and work projects leaves the world more exposed than ever to developments inside China. The recent outbreak of COVID-19 originating in Hubei province has now spread globally, with most cases reported among China's Asia-Pacific neighbors. 

While countries with robust medical infrastructure and spending such as Japan and South Korea face major challenges in handling the coronavirus crisis, Southeast Asian countries such as Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia will find it even more difficult to check and monitor the spread.
